Premium Gessoed Hardboard
Richeson Premium Gessoed Hardboard Pannels save you the time and effort of priming your own painting surface.
Ideal for oils, alkyds, acrylics, caseins, and waterbased paints. They come pre-primed with a double coating of high-quality gesso, with a perfect, lightly toothy texture. That allows for excellent brush control. The 1/8" thick panels are tempered to resist warping and have beautifully beveled edges.
The range of gesso panels on the market today range from almost glassy smooth to very textured. Jack Richeson & Co. spent two years in the development of our Gesso Panels. The result is a strong warp-resistant tempered panel. These panels are coated with a high quality acrylic gesso. Using a two coat waterfall system, It gives a perfect lightly toothy finished surface. This surface will not separate from the panel but bonds perfectly. Making it the perfect panel for all painters – professional as well as students.
Panels are acid-free and made in the USA. Choose from toned Mid-Tone Gray, toned Umber Wash, or White. Six sizes available in three colors each.
